Our Meeting with NHS England

Matt said "It was amazing to hear our colleague self-advocates speak up so directly and powerfully to NHS leaders one year after Whorlton Hall."

Steve chaired the meeting and said: "I think the meeting went well. Ray listened to us. Hopefully he might involve us."

Michael said: "I like the way he said thank you for having the chance to hear how people with learning disabilities are affected."

Aisha said: "He was straightforward and I was very glad he thanked everyone."

Sammy said: "It was productive. It looks like he will change things and involve us, so let's hope he sticks to his word."

Sean said: "It was a good meeting. I will talk about this in meetings I am going to."

Paula from We Are Human Too said: "I think the meeting was really good. I really enjoyed it."

Sam said: "It was good and very interesting. Maybe the meeting will help us find a way to help others."

Everyone agreed it was a good meeting - lots of shared values.
